Who Knew?

Who knew that the word "cheers" could be used to say thank you instead of toast with drinks? And,who knew that the sound "Ta" could also mean thank you. More to come but I will have to get used to these things and use them if I mean to blend in. I will be at a wedding in Canada for a week. I will also get to see my parents in the States. In this context I should probably not use "cheers" or "ta". Life can be complicated sometimes.
